Plexus® structural adhesives for the marine industry are designed to increase production and repair speeds. Our adhesives require little or no surface preparation and can be used for a variety of applications including composite stringers, liners and deck to hull bonding.

Plexus® adhesives outperform laminated joints and reduce cracking and crazing of gelcoats. The large product selection ensures a variety of open and working times to suit all applicaitons.

The Spraycore® range of composite materials and sprayable industrial coatings have reengineered the boat building and composites industries. These sprayable laminates are lighter and stronger than hand-applied materials. They improve end-user product quality/durability while increasing manufacturing efficiencies and reducing VOC emissions.

This innovative product line is used extensively in the marine industry as well as in the general industrial markets.

MA300
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of composite, thermoplastic, and metal assemblies. MA300 has a working time of 3 to 6 minutes and reaches approximately 500 psi in 12 minutes and 1000 psi in 15 minutes at 74°F (23°C).
MA310
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. MA310 is a medium-curing adhesive system. MA310 offers a combination of high strength and stiffness as well as the ability to bond a wide range of materials.
MA320
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. MA320 is an excellent choice for composite bonding applications in the transportation, marine, wind energy, and engineering construction industries because of its high strength and durability.
MA330
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. MA330 offers a combination of high strength and stiffness as well as the ability to bond a wide range of materials.
MA420FS
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. MA420FS is a standard choice for composites automated bonding applications in the transportation industry, because it requires virtually no surface preparation and its rapid fixture time.
MA420 (AO420)
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. AO420 is a rapid-curing system and is the standard choice for composite bonding applications in the transportation industry.
MA422
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of composite, thermoplastic, and metal assemblies. MA422 is finding wide usage for composite bonding applications in the transportation and marine industries because it requires virtually no surface preparation.
MA530
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. This product has been designed for use on large structures where a moderate open time product is needed. MA530 may be used for composite and metal bonding for small to large structures.
MA560-1
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. Designed for use on large structures where a very long open time product is needed. Plexus MA560-1 is commonly used for bonding stringers and liners into large fiberglass boats with bond lines up to 1.00 in. (25 mm) thick.
MA590
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. MA590 has a working time of 90 to 105 minutes and achieves approximately 500 and 1000 psi in 5 and 6.5 hours, respectively, at 74°F (23°C).
MA830
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of metals without primers. In addition, MA830 does a superb job of bonding thermoplastic and composite assemblies with little or no surface preparation.
MA832
Advanced two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of metals without primers. In addition, MA832 does a superb job of bonding thermoplastic and composite assemblies with little to no surface preparation.
MA1020
Two-part methacrylate adhesive with very low cure shrinkage and very low odor.
MA1025
Two-part methacrylate adhesive with very low cure shrinkage and very low odor designed for structural bonding because it requires virtually no surface prep.
MA2015 White
Formulated as an excellent UV and yellowing resistant white, two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal, and composite assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 ratio, MA2015 White is a rapid-curing system. Plexus MA2015 is the standard choice for composite bonding applications in the transportation industry because it requires virtually no surface preparation.
MA2030
Two-part methacrylate adhesive designed to eliminate problems associated with adhesive sag and slide.
MA2030 White

MA2090

SC-1500-LS
Sprayable premium vinylester barrier coat applied directly behind the gel coat.
SC-2000-OS LS
Sprayable syntactic coring material that is VOC compliant. It can be used as a bulk print blocker and coring material.
SC-1800-LS

AlphaFill Lightweight
High quality, tack free, lightweight putty with excellent adhesion to metal, galvanized metal, aluminum, fiberglass and wood.
PDR 6000
Strong, ultra-light (6 lbs/gal) polyester adhesive putty that is primarily used to bond fiberglass parts.
PDR 9000
Strong, lightweight (9 lbs./gal) polyester adhesive filler.
SC-4000 HDT
Multi-functional, high heat distortion, sprayable material for mold building that is VOC compliant.
SC-4055
Ceramic compounded vinylester/polyester resin blend that was formulated for the production of fiberglass molds. Will enhance the cosmetic appearance, rigidity and speed of production of fiberglass reinforced molds.
SC-4600 HTT
A promoted, vinylester blended premium mold building resin developed for the fabrication of FRP tooling in multiple pull and high temperature applications.
SC-4750
SprayCore® 4750 is a High Performance shrink controlled filled Tooling Resin; it is formulated to reproduce exact shapes of master and meets the stringent Requirements of the Marine, Transportation, and Tub & Shower markets. SprayCore® 4750 low shrink filled Tooling Resin is formulated with a unique Low HAP chemistry, is MACT Compliant and meets all current Federal regulations regarding emissions.
VELR 4000
A DCPD/vinylester laminating resin.
SC-2000-CM
Sprayable syntactic polyester developed specifically for compression molding. It can also be injected into an empty mold cavity to make preform cores.
SC-5000
Pourable or injectable transom coring material.
AlphaCoat 1700
Sprayable two-part polyester based filler/glazing compound that is VOC compliant. Excellent for application over iron, metal, aluminum, fiberglass, wood and polyester fillers.

MR-100
Chemical Foaming agent used to reduce the gel time and density.
SC-2045

SC-6000
Unique micro balloon filled syntactic resin that can be used in a variety of ways to enhance the cosmetic appearance, rigidity and speed of production of fiberglass reinforced plastic products.
SC-7315

SC-1050
Ceramic compound resin used to prevent air voids between the gel coat and the fiberglass laminate. MEKP catalyst is not included.
SC-1060
Ceramic compound resin used to prevent air voids between the gel coat and the fiberglass laminate, most commomly used in tight radii.
SC-900
Ceramic compound resin used to prevent air voids between the gel coat and the fiberglass laminate, most commonly used in tight radii. Works well in open and closed mold processes.
SC-4500
A CNC machined, sprayable syntactic vinylester blend used for plug building.
SC-2000-HS
A CNC machined, sprayable syntactic polyester used for plug building.
